Announcements:
  • LD's song "Tragedy", will be included in the Sky So Grey New England dark rock/goth compilation. LD's single is available to MySpace users only at Lucretia's Daggers' MySpace. The comp, initiated by Mathew Fuller (Seven Sunless Days), and produced by John DeGregorio (Amber Spyglass), will be released September 2008. Stay tuned for details.

  • LD in Mick Mercer's international goth band compilation book. We don't yet know what the book will be called -- something like Goth Band Book -- but it will compile details from “goth” bands from all over the world. Look for it sometime in the next year. Also look for a review of LD's CD, Sad Flower Songs, in Mick Mercer's online journal, in the coming weeks.

  • See Live Performance Videos of LD’s songs on LD YouTube and LD’s MySpace, produced by Sam Palmisano. Contact Sam for audio/visual services or computer repair, cheap: 978-319-4252.

    Short Bio:
With a namesake derived from '80s cult band The Sisters of Mercy, Shakespeare/Livy-penned poetic biography, and 16th c. Borgia legend, Boston's Lucretia's Daggers blends darkwave, synthpop, and futuristic metal with haunting female vocals in their "dark lyrical electro-rock for the apocalypse".

Since April 2008, Lucretia’s Daggers is lead guitarist Elucid (Jim Donahue), bassist Odetta Mo Excrucior (Melika M. Fitzhugh), drum/synth programmer Leon Rich, and the band’s founder and lyricist/vocalist Lucretia X. Machina (Lauri Murphy). LD’s full-length debut CD, Sad Flower Songs, was released February 2006.
